How politics works... Republican's trying to get elected in November

Here is an update from 8/16
Former Governors Mitt Romney of Massachusetts and Sarah Palin of Alaska and Governor Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota, who announced last year that he wouldn’t seek re-election, are potential 2012 Republican presidential candidates, as is Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour, who heads the RGA.

"The Republicans’ biggest corporate donor was New York-based News Corp."

SURPRISE!!! Fox News, the Republican's biggest contributor (er, they are just talking about cash)

Look at the "leading" Republican candidates for President. None of them can win a national election. Obama is guaranteed a second term... no matter what happens here or overseas.

Here is Fox News' version:

"His election-year push for additional job measures suffered a fresh setback this past week when the GOP blocked the small-business plan."

"the Republican leaders in the Senate won't even allow it to come up for a vote"
